Personal Care
We provide you with Residential Care Aides to take care of your personal needs. Our skilled professionals help with the following, and more:
- Personal Hygiene Care and Grooming
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Mobility Assistance
- Medication Reminder/Administration
- Assisting with Hospital Discharges and Trips to Doctors
Live-in Care
Offering you two options for support on a live-in basis:
Option 1 – Ensemble Staff
You can utilize the services of Ensemble’s caregivers on staff with a live-in daily rate. You will have one or two permanent care workers for 5 to 7 days a week. Our staff is bonded and insured. We calculate the payroll, vacation pay and medical premiums and guarantee the continuity and availability of personnel weekly. Complementary assessment permits us to accurately determine your needs as a client and an appropriate daily rate.
Option 2 – Referral
Hire a caregiver through Ensemble by paying a referral fee. We will select a qualified candidate and complete a reference check, along with a guarantee of replacement within 90 days. A referred caregiver becomes your employee. As an employer you are responsible for tax withholdings and WCB premiums. A caregiver will not be bonded and insured by us.
Companionship
Sometimes it is more than just medical attention you need. Our companionship services include, but are not limited to:
Accompany you:
- On community outings
- To doctors appointments
- To family engagements
- On walks
Visit with you to:
- Share a cup of tea or coffee
- Read a book or play games
- Drive you around
- Engage in conversation
Home Support
Our Home Support Workers can help you with your daily routine or basic home support services which include, but are not limited to:
- Meal Planning and Preparation
- Grocery Shopping and Running Errands
- Light Housekeeping – washing dishes, dusting, vacuuming, disposing of garbage, tidying and making beds
- Monitoring your physical and mental well being
- Organizing mail and payment of utility bills
Respite Care
Caregivers who can help you keep up with your daily routine.
We offer respite care if you need a short break or time-off from caring for your family member. Just a few hours of relief from the constant care they require, can alleviate stress, boost your energy level, and give your batteries a much needed recharge. It also benefits those being cared for by offering them an alternative to their routine.
Typical services include, but are not limited to:
- Helping the family member with personal hygiene
- Dressing, feeding and taking their medications
- Playing games, cards, or reading aloud
- Simply providing companionship
